Long-Distance Notes: Please Be Patient

Okay, here we go! I am asking for some patience since I am a beginner at blogging! All is well, just a bit hectic around here! The spring run-off has begun and we will be having more time outside... Jacob is elated with this plan. He would rather be out than in. Meghan and Quinn are not far behind. This was followed by the twins first birthday!

Jacob-isms

Mama-- da know them long poky weezer-getters that's in Daddy's tool box?--- I really fink we can get that dime out of Maggie if we get her to open up and we can really get it out. (01-23-11)

Mama, it's HIGH time we get to moving back to Pappy's ranch or farm or wha'd-eber ya want call it. HE NEEDS me da know!

Little Bits of words~

Meghan is talking using actual words that are understandable... so, I deemed that I better write down what I can remember!
1-15-11 Meghan is now to the point where she is willing to attempt to repeat the words that she is hearing... as soon as I figure out my video recorder I will post her slaughter of words. I so LoVe this part of baby learning. I just have to laugh. (however, she may give you an indignant look- Quinn will giggle with you- though he is clueless about the joke)

When he wants to sit a the small table he will push it out (from where ever I have it stashed and toss everthing off of it - must be cleaned off to eat on- even if I have really big, heavy items in front of it. He gets into the Middle Linebacker mentality and pose and heaves! The table, chairs, tubs, books, or other itmes in its way all move. He proceeds to place it where he wants it, looks up and grinns, then he slapps his hands together in a sligh clap/ sort of that's all done and grunts, "Dee!" [as if to say, "See! All better mama this is what I want. I am NOT going to tell you I'll just SHOW ya."] He perks up and trots over to the counter and hold his hands up for his plate or will sign MORE! (I guess his language is more SHOW than TELL... boy- oh boy- oh boy- do I have my hands full)

bah- like duh it all depends on where we are or what we are doing.
duh- is many things from the pictures on the page of a book and he means name that for me to drink, or juice, and let's go there.

rumm-rumm- driving any moving vehicle
